Panaji, also called Panjim, is the state capital of Goa, in south-west India. Located on the bank of the Mandovi River, the city has paved street ruled with structure from the Portuguese royal era, bright villas. Basilica of Bom Jesus in Panaji
The Basilica is 9 km away from “Panjim Kadamba” Bus Stand and 27 km away from “Vasco Da Gama” Railway Station, the well-liked Bom Jesus Basilica is fraction of UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is also known as St. Francis Xavier’s Tomb. The creation of the church began in 1594, finished in May 1605. The church is known as ‘Bom Jesus’ means ‘infant Jesus’ or ‘good Jesus’. Old Goa in Panaji
